Alaska

Two years ago the Lord began to speak to us about moving to Alaska. The focus for us moving there would be to minister, particularly to the native people, all over Baranof Island and beyond. The Lord spoke to us specifically about the City of Sitka. Since that time we have prayed, almost daily, into the purposes and plans of God for the people there. He has spoken to us through visions, license plates, His Voice, movies, signs, and people that we've randomly bumped into. We have had prophets in the Body of Christ, especially our best friend Cynthia Branham, prophesy over us often concerning this wondrous place. Bethany actually traveled to Alaska some 20 years ago this summer to minister through the Teen Mania organization. I have never been to Alaska but in my whole 20 years of being a believer the Lord has only spoken to me about the president as much as He has spoken to me about this place! My destiny and promise lies in this land. We have been making practical preparations as well as spiritual ones. Our kids are so excited to go to this new land. We can only hope that they will be able to adjust and be ready to put their roots down here in Sitka, Alaska. Most of all, I have fallen in love with a people I have yet to meet.

It was roughly two springs ago that I put in my notice where I was working and began to walk in faith and in full-time ministry. Shortly after this step the Lord began to speak to us about moving to Alaska. Just this past week Beth was led to put in her notice. This summer we will be launching out into a new frontier. In many ways it feels as if we are only just beginning in ministry. If you are reading this and know Jesus please pray for us. We are an extension of Iglesia RevoluZion, our home church in Charlottesville, VA. The Lord is with us! This is the hour. Now is the time. We are also grateful for Maria Liscio who "got up under us" with prayer and began to support us. As I've mentioned previously, our friend Cynthia has not only been our dearest friend but has walked along side us every step of the way. I also want to thank my parents for helping me gain additional resources in travel and more. My In-Laws, Brenda and Steve have been out of this world! Without them we would not even be able to have a movie night. They have been tremendous! I also want to thank Apostle Fernando and Pastor Hazael for their support, prayer, understanding and covering. Prophetess Cynthia Murray has also been a wonderful ally in our time of wondering and waiting. Most of all I am proud of my wife for taking this step of faith with me and believing that we were on the right track. I am so grateful to have a wife who can "hear what the Spirit is saying to the church". This has not been easy for her but I see her now walking in more peace and faith than ever!

Sitka, here we come!

    Dear Andrew, Oh, I know what you mean! I have moved from where we knew each other to another people that when I visited them, just fell in love with.Having been here for a little while, my love for them hasn't waned, but continues to grow, despite some hard times. You have been a blessing to me,and I am very confident they will say the same about you. I pray for you and in your God given endeavors. My the Lord prosper you and bless your hand!

Where is Your Faith?

I don't know if you have ever felt this way but at times in my life certain things have happened which made me feel as if I have very little faith. There are moments where I have felt as if I was being tossed back and forth like a boat pitching in the middle of a hurricane on the high seas. Each time I have felt this way, I have had my eyes on the storm of circumstances around me, at the seemingly endless onslaught of water pouring into my vessel, seeking to overwhelm me and fill me with fear, doubt, confusion, and most of all like I am sinking further into despair. But God in His patient way would simply lift my head, much like a father does to a small child, until I am face to face, looking straight into His eyes, my own eyes fixed on Him and then He reminds me that He is always with me.
